The City of Sioux City is encouraging citizens to do their part in controlling the overgrowth of grass and weeds on privately owned properties located within the community.

If you are aware of a property which is not being maintained and has grass or weeds growing in excess of 12 inches in height, then please help us by reporting the location of the property.

Sioux City Municipal Code Section 17.32.020 Criteria.

It shall be presumed that a health, fire or safety hazard exists when weeds or other growth on any portion of a lot or parcel are inexcess of twelve inches in length. (Ord. 2003-0371; 88/T-6292)
